Megan Barton-Hanson and Demi Sims have row on Eating With my Ex over cheating claims
Megan Barton-Hanson and Demi Sims had a row over cheating claims while filming for Eating With My Ex
Demi and the Love Island star originally met in 2019 after they hit it off on Celebs Go Dating.
However, when filming came to an end, Megan revealed that she ended the relationship via a text message.
Shortly after their romance, Megan went on to date footballer Chelcee Grimes.
In scenes, which will air tonight, Megan and Demi will sit down to talk about their relationship and what went wrong.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk about the ‘awkward’ meal, Megan explained that things did get heated between the pair after Demi asked her whether she cheated during their relationship.
‘Different rumours got brought up and it got heated towards the end,’ Megan told us.
‘She thought that I had cheated on her. I didn’t even know about the rumours at this point, it was only when the question came up during the meal.
‘It shocked me, I was pretty taken aback by it.’
The model went on to add that she got rather emotional at one point and even ‘had to hold back tears’.
She continued: ‘I hate confrontation so I felt like I could have cried at one point.
‘It’s just upsetting. I spent a lot of time with Demi hanging out when filming for Celebs Go Dating, so for her to think the rumours were true, I just felt emotional.’
‘It was closure for us, I was so glad that she was 100% open and forgiving because I didn’t want to make things even worse,’ Megan added.
‘I turned up and I was like “I know I was in the wrong” type of thing and “Can we be friends?” because we do have such a laugh together.’
Joining Megan and Demi on the celebrity edition of the series will be Towie stars James Lock and Yazmin Oukhellou, and Ru Paul’s Drag Race star Vinegar Strokes and ex Emile.
Olympian Ashley Mckenzie also meets up with his ex Danielle for a meal, while things get heated between The Apprentice star Ryan-Mark Parsons and his former partner Oskars.
Singer Talia Storm and her racing driver ex Seb Morris also reunite as well as Geordie Shore star Nathan Henry and his ex-boyfriend Tommy.
All four episodes of Celebrity Eating With My Ex will be available to stream from February 14.
