PewDiePie takes aim at ‘f***ing snitch’ Tekashi 6ix9ine on Cocomelon ‘diss track’
PewDiePie has turned a diss track against a children’s nursery rhymes channel into a diss track against Tekashi 6ix9ine, because of course he has.
After teasing the new track for weeks, the YouTuber has dropped his track Coco, a diss track that mocks the kids’ channel Cocomelon, which has a whopping 105 million subscribers.
PewDiePie, who has 109 million subscribers, doesn’t actually have beef with the nursery rhymes channel, and the song is just a jokey take on diss tracks.
However, in between cussing out Cocomelon fans as ‘virgins’, the 31-year-old unexpectedly turns his attention to Tekashi 6ix9ine, who has finished his prison sentence after pleading guilty to charges related to racketeering, firearm offenses and assault.
In the video, PewDiePie – dressed like Mr Rogers – pointed to a chalk drawing of the rapper and sang: ‘Don’t be a f**king snitch. Don’t be like 69, that rainbow f**king b**ch.
‘Rainbow b**ch, hair too bright. Don’t eat lead paint or your brain will end up like 6ix9ine.’
The lyrics were in reference to the Gummo rapper getting a plea deal by cooperating with the authorities and testifying against other gang members.
At the end of the song, PewDiePie, real name Felix Kjellberg, then says: ‘I’m just playing Coco, you know I love you. Not 6ix9ine though, ankle monitor-wearing c**t, I challenge you in a legal fight.’
The star knows how out of the blue the disses are, as a child at the end of the song asks: ‘Why is he dissing 69?’
In fairness to the vlogger, 6ix9ine isn’t the only star he targets under the guise of his Cocomelon beef.
PewDiePie raps: ‘I’ll spoil Harry Potter, wait JK already did’ – seemingly referencing author JK Rowling being accused of transphobia.
We doubt PewDiePie will actually take 6ix9ine to court, but the song has made waves, already racking up 5.5 million views.
The gamer has released a number of songs since 2018, starting with B***h Lasagna, which was a diss track aimed at T-Series in their battle over subscriber counts.
Cocomelon could be just the first 6ix9ine diss track we get this week, as Meek Mill has threatened his own.
The two rappers almost came to blows on Saturday night after partying in an Atlanta nightclub, and filmed each other firing insults at each other in a car park.
Meek Mill teased a new song hours later, with fans speculating that the lyrics were about Tekashi.
In the snippet, he rapped: ‘He a fraud on the ‘gram like who is like that? Big dog, real boss… n***a you a pet, credit card n***a real fraud.’
