Rihanna raised the temperature as she posted a topless photo on social media, stripping off while the rest of us bundle up at home during the cold weather.

Valentine’s Day might have been and gone, but Riri, 32, was clearly still in the mood for romance – or at least the physical side of it…

The singer looked sensational in a new photo to promote her underwear range Savage X Fenty.

She artfully used one arm to cover her bare chest while showing off her light purple boxers.

The star, with her beautiful tattoos on display, wore striking jewellery on her ears, wrists, hands and around her neck with her hair tied back.

In the picture caption she quoted musician Popcaan, writing: ‘When @popcaanmusic said “me nuh wan ya wear no lingerie tonight fa me girl”’.

Her fans were loving it of course, praising the Work singer’s heart-racing snap in the comments.

‘It’s the Sunkissed skin fa me!’ said one.

Another wrote: ‘SHE CAME HERE TO BREAK THE INTERNET!!!!!!!!’

One excited stan posted: ‘I’m on the floor….i can barely breathe’, while another comment read: ‘Alright so you woke up and said “let me break the internet real quick.”‘

Her comments were also littered with fire emoji and plenty of demands for her to ‘move her arm’.

Rihanna is bigging up her Savage range days after it was revealed her clothing line would be shutting down.

LVMH confirmed the surprising news in a brief statement released to the publication, which said: ‘Rihanna and LVMH have jointly made the decision to put on hold the RTW activity, based in Europe, pending better conditions.

‘Following the completion of a fundraising round where L Catterton has taken a stake into Savage X Fenty, LVMH and Rihanna reaffirm their ambition to concentrate on the growth and the long-term development of [the] Fenty ecosystem focusing on cosmetics, skincare and lingerie.’

The Fenty brand owner is yet to comment on the development herself but sources said the singer is ‘sad’ about the move.
