Bad Bunny and WWE superstar Damian Priest celebrate 24/7 Championship win on Raw

Bad Bunny won the WWE 24/7 Championship during an eventful episode of Monday Night Raw days before his Saturday Night Live appearance.

The Latin music mega star has been a constant presence in Vince McMahon’s company since the Royal Rumble event on January 31, where he performed his track Booker T alongside the Hall of Famer of the same name, and hit a high dive from the top rope to The Miz and John Morrison.

Since then, he’s been aligned with rising star Damian Priest, who helped his friend capture the title, which of course can be won anywhere at any time.

The pair were chatting backstage when Akira Tozawa won the 24/7 Championship from R-Truth, only to accidentally back into the Archer of Infamy.

Priest hit a knee to Tozawa, and urged Bad Bunny to make the pin to start his first title reign in WWE.

The musician has been on fire lately, attacking JoMo with a microphone on Raw at the start of the month to help Priest to victory over the Miz.

His involvement has been a masterstroke, with his enthusiasm on full display and no doubt bringing eyes to WWE’s weekly product via his regular appearances.

He’s already proved to be a merchandise juggernaut, with his crossover designs topping the company’s best selling lists online.

The question now is where the company goes from here, with WrestleMania 37 looming large on the horizon.

Of course, the smart move would see Bad Bunny get into the ring for a tag team match alongside Damian Priest against John Morrison and The Miz.

The rivalry has been a lot of fun the last few weeks, and the annual extravaganza has had no shortage of celebrity crossovers, making it the perfect stage for the star’s in-ring debut under the bright lights.

With fans returning too, it’s the perfect storm – fingers crossed!
