Bradley Walsh has enjoyed all sorts of experiences on Bradley & Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad, but he pushed himself to the limit for the series finale with a ‘terrifying’ cliff jump.

The presenter overcame his fears to jump off a 30ft ledge with his son on the ITV programme in the most adrenaline inducing moment from the show to date.

Tensions were high after Bradley’s instructor warned him ‘anything could happen’ during the stunt.

After receiving some diving training, the 60-year-old and his son Barney climbed up a cliff face and prepared to jump.

Barnes landed in the water successfully, leaving Bradley to psych himself up and prepare for the nerve-racking moment.

A concerned Barnes asked: ‘Dad, are you sure about this? Don’t force yourself to do something you don’t want to do.’

Finally, Bradley plucked up the courage and leapt off the cliff, landing in the water below safely and joining Bradley.

‘I landed on my gluteus maximus, it’s absolutely slapped my a***! Ah, my a*** is on fire,’ Bradley said after the jump.

‘That was terrifying, I’ve got the shakes,’ the presenter said after being reunited with his son. ‘What an end to a fantastic tour.’

It comes after the presenter was left shaking like a leaf after attempting to take on a bungee jump earlier in the series – a stunt which proved to be far less successful than the cliff dive.

Earlier in the series, Bradley struggled to hold back the tears after Barney surprised him with the best birthday gift – a surprise Andrea Bocelli performance.

Bradley & Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad is available to watch on ITV Player.
