Trevor Lawrence could be a Jacksonville Jaguars player soon

Trevor Lawrence is now a household name across America. The Clemson Tigers quarterback is a big hit amongst NFL fans. His luscious locks partnered with a knack for scoring touchdowns means he’s one of the hottest prospects in this year’s NFL Draft.

Urban Meyer-coached Jacksonville Jaguars own the number one pick this year. In fact, Meyer along with multiple NFL scouts was present at Lawrence’s Pro Day last week where the in-form quarterback put on a show. But Lawrence later revealed that he was scheduled to undergo surgery on his non-throwing left shoulder which is more of a precaution than a concern.

Trevor Lawrence will be ready in time for preseason after successful surgery

NFL insider Tom Pelissero confirmed that Lawrence underwent successful surgery on his left shoulder earlier this week. He further added that the Clemson superstar will recover in time to feature in the preseason.

Multiple NFL mock drafts have predicted that Trevor Lawrence will be the undisputed number one pick this year at the NFL Draft scheduled to be held on April 29, 2020. He finished as a runner-up in this year’s Heisman Trophy throwing for 3,100+ yards and 24 passing touchdowns.

But Ohio State QB Justin Fields and 2021 Heisman Trophy winner De’Vonta Smith could also emerge as potential first-overall picks. New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins own the second and third pick respectively.
