Shanna Moakler likes comment about ex Travis Barker ‘downgrading’ to Kourtney Kardashian
Travis Moakler’s ex-wife Shanna Moakler reportedly threw shade at the rocker’s new girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian by liking a comment suggesting Barker ‘downgraded’.
Travis, 45, and Kourtney, 41, merged the worlds of pop punk and reality TV this week. by making their romance Instagram official.
After months of rumours that the pair were dating, they both shared identical pictures of them holding hands shortly after spending Valentine’s Day together.
While the relationship has showbiz gossip fans very excited, not everybody is happy with the news.
Playboy model Shanna, who was married to Travis from 2004 until 2008, reportedly liked a comment on Instagram about her ex-husband’s new girlfriend.
The 45-year-old posted a sultry picture with the caption: ‘And I should Goodfella you, call me Karen, waking up to my Beretta…..’
The lyric from Jessie Reyez’s Do You Love Her references Goodfellas, in which Karen (Lorraine Bracco) uses a Beretta revolver gun to wake up her husband (Ray Liotta), who had been cheating on her.
One now-deleted comment on the post read: ‘Shhhhiiiii that broad don’t got nothin’ on you. Travis downgraded big time!!!!’
According to E! News and Hollywood Life, Shanna was one of the people to like the comment.
While the post has now been deleted, back in December, the star liked a tweet in response to one of her selfies reading: ‘Travis should’ve stayed!’
The 1995 Miss USA had relationships with Billy Idol, Oscar De La Hoya and Dennis Quaid before she married Blink 182’s drummer Travis in 2004 in a wedding inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
The couple welcomed two children together – Landon, now 17, and Alabama, 15 – and their lives were documented on the MTV reality series Meet the Barkers.
However, after Travis filed for divorce in 2006, they proceeded to have a tumultuous on-off relationship, with the couple getting back together in 2007 on numerous occasions.
Although they attempted to get back together in 2009 after Travis survived a plane crash that killed four people, their divorce was finalised in 2008.
Kourtney has been friends with Travis for years, with the pair raising their families in Calabasas.
However, rumours began swirling that they were more than friends when Travis shared pictures from Kris Jenner’s Palm Springs home at the same time Kourtney was hanging out there.
Fast forward to February 2021 and the pair were seen holding hands at a Japanese restaurant, before confirming their relationship on social media.
While Travis seemingly has his own ex drama, Kourtney’s on-off relationship with Scott Disick is still being teased as a plot point in the final series of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The reality stars were together for nine years until they split in 2015, and they have three children together – Mason, 11, Penelope, eight and Reign, six.
