Terence Crawford: ‘I Prefer the Manny Pacquiao Fight Over Shawn Porter’

Terence Crawford

Terence Crawford is among the finest welterweights of the modern boxing era. Over the course of his prolonged career, ‘Bud’ has cemented himself as the best at his weight class. He has faced many big-wigs inside the ring, but a fight that fans have always craved to see was his bout with the unified welterweight champion, Errol Spence Jr.

But, it seems the Nebraska native has moved on from ‘The Truth’ to even bigger opponents.

Talking to FightHype, Crawford said, “Both of them (Pacquiao and Porter) have their own strong points. Manny Pacquiao is fast and moving, he can punch. Shawn Porter is aggressive, tough, and durable…”

Yeah, I prefer the Manny Pacquiao fight over Shawn Porter.”

The ‘Bud’ insisted on fighting both the veterans, but a fight that interests him the most is with Manny Pacquiao. Both ‘Pacman’ and Crawford are absolute legends of the game.

A fight between the two will rank among the most electrifying welterweight clashes of all time. Crawford has high regards for Pacquiao and he would have to move fast to secure a fight against the aging Filipino Senator.

There would be none better than ‘Pacman’ as this fight would bring the best out of ‘Bud’ and result in a massive payday.
