Joe Swash has reportedly signed up for Celebrity Masterchef along with former glamour model Katie Price.

The TV presenter, who recently got engaged to Stacey Solomon, is keen to show off his cooking skills on the BBC programme, fronted by John Torode and Gregg Wallace.

‘Joe’s really good in the kitchen and thinks he stands a good chance on the show – even if Stacey might disagree,’ a source told The Sun.

It is understood that the 2021 series of the BBC cooking contest has already begun filming and Katie and Joe are among this year’s contestants.

But, who else will be joining them?

Mum-of-five Katie is really excited for viewers to see a ‘different side of her’ on the show.

‘She’s actually a really good cook and wants to show off her kitchen skills,’ a source explained.

It’s not the first cooking programme Joe has taken part in. The former I’m A Celeb star once appeared on CBBC’s Dish Up with his eldest son Harry, where they made chick drumsticks.

He has also recently appeared on Celebrity Supermarket Sweep and Celebrity Gogglebox.

Despite Stacey, who admittedly does most of the cooking in their household, Joe could have some tricks up his sleeve.

In June 2020 he stunned his Instagram followers after he made a magical pink birthday cake for his wife-to-be, and to be honest, it looked incredible.

Documentary filmmaker and TV host Riyadh Khalaf was crowned the winner of Celebrity MasterChef 2020, beating fellow finalists Sir Matthew Pinsent and Sam Quek.

Reacting to his win, Riyadh said on the series: ‘I am absolutely in shock. I can’t believe it, it’s an incredible feeling.

‘This show I have been watching since I was in school and to have gone from being a fan of the show to winning the thing – this is without a doubt the biggest achievement of my life.’
