Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s divorce ‘came together quickly’, it has been claimed.
The couple – who share children North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm – are said to have called time on their marriage, six years after tying the knot in a lavish ceremony.
An insider has now said the pair are ‘in agreement’ over joint legal and physical custody’, and plan to co-parent over their brood.
They are also not said to be contesting their prenuptial agreement.
‘The parenting plan and split of assets came together quickly, in the past few days,’ a source told People. ‘Kim and Kanye basically wanted the same thing.’
They said Kim, 40, has been ‘fair and generous’ amid their split, as she just wants the best for their family.
‘Both of them want nothing but the best for the kids,’ a second source told the publication. ‘They will work out a schedule that is good for everyone.’
TMZ broke the news of their divorce on Friday, stating that they are committed to co-parenting their children.
Kimye have yet to address the separation reports publicly, but a rep for the reality star is said to have confirmed news of their divorce to ABC News.
Kim’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, has allegedly filed the papers, which are said to state that neither party is contesting their existing prenup – and they are already ‘far along’ in reaching a property settlement agreement.
There has been intense speculation over their romance over the last few months – after the musician, 43, spoke about their private lives during his Presidential campaign rally in the summer.
Speaking to a packed crowd in South Carolina, he disclosed that they considered aborting North, when Kim fell pregnant.
The rapper also made comments about their marriage and Kim’s family in an explicit rant on Twitter, which was deleted shortly after.
The businesswoman has since been pictured without her wedding ring – with her husband notably absent from her Instagram page on Valentine’s Day.
‘It’s got to the point where they haven’t spent time together as a married couple in months,’ an insider told E! News recently.
‘They’ve seen each other for the sake of the kids but have been living separately. Kim knows the marriage is over. She’s known for a while.’
