Chrissy Teigen was seen marking her stillborn son’s due date, after losing him 20 weeks into her pregnancy.

The model, 35, fell pregnant with her third child last year but experienced complications and was hospitalised due to excessive bleeding.

Chrissy later revealed on social media that she and husband John Legend had lost their baby – a boy they named Jack.

At the time, Chrissy opened up about her loss publicly with fans, describing the ‘deep pain’ she felt while sharing pictures from her hospital bed with her stillborn son.

She was widely praised for being so open and honest about her experience and addressing the stigma around stillbirth and miscarriage, as she shared devastating pictures from her hospital bed.

Now Chrissy has marked what would have been Jack’s due date. Alongside a photo of her sat at the table, she wrote: ‘Can smile all day but thinking of you on your due date, bug.’

It came after Chrissy told fans she was ‘feeling off’ as Jack’s due date approached.

She was due to have surgery for endometriosis and wrote on Twitter: ‘My little jack would have been born this week so I’m a bit off. I truly feel kicks in my belly, but it’s not phantom.

I have surgery for endometriosis tomorrow…but the period feeling this month is exactly like baby kicks. Sigh.’

Chrissy then shared a video of flutters in her stomach and tweeted: ‘Look at this I’ll pretend it’s him saying hi – it never stops.’

She and John are also parents to two children; daughter Luna, four, and son Miles, two, who were both conceived via IVF.

In 2018, she revealed the couple still had some embryos left and that their two kids had ‘shared the same little petri dish together.

Jack was conceived naturally, with Chrissy finding out she was pregnant a few weeks after undergoing breast reduction surgery.

Ahead of her op, Chrissy had taken a pregnancy test that gave a negative result, with the star revealing she later took another test that soon revealed she was in fact pregnant.

She recalled being ‘scared sh**less’ at finding out she was expecting and told fans: ‘When you give up on trying, life has a way of surprising you

Since her stillbirth, Chrissy has said that she won’t get pregnant again.

‘I love being pregnant, so so much, and I’m sad I never will be again,’ she told fans.

‘But I am lucky to have two amazing little ones who are transforming into big little people more and more every single day.’
