Anthea Turner has been accused of breaking lockdown rules by hosting a group of friends at her home for a reported pamper session.

The TV presenter is alleged to have invited at least five people over to her south-west London flat on February 12.

Photos obtained by The Sun show women entering what is said to be Anthea’s building carrying bags and large cases.

At least one of the women is said to be a beautician while Anthea was also reportedly joined by boutique owner Julia Jaconelli and a former CEO of Bafta.

Jaconelli told the publication: ‘It was a business meeting.’

It’s said the group were treated to haircuts, massages, manicures and eyebrow tints while drinking alcohol.

Current lockdown rules ban multiple households from mixing indoors but exemptions include a support bubble, childcare or to escape a dangerous situation.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to announce today a roadmap to easing the measures beginning on March 8.

The Government website states: ‘It is against the law to meet socially with family or friends unless they are part of your household or support bubble.

‘You cannot leave home for recreational or leisure purposes (such as for a picnic or a social meeting).’

Anthea, 60, recently came under fire and was accused of fat-shaming and ableism after retweeting a controversial meme.

It featured an image of an overweight woman sitting next to a McDonald’s drink and telling another woman: ‘Put a mask on! You’re putting my health at risk!’

The former GMTV presenter captioned the retweet: ‘Go for it!! X.’

She later apologised and told her followers: ‘Totally apologise that the cartoon is clumsy – I’ll take the rollicking on the chin. But this was never directed at people clinically ill who need our support.

‘My passion is sincere though Covid has to give us a bloody big health wake-up call and we’d be nuts not to try and fix it.’
