Below Deck star Captain Lee Rosbach has revealed the sweet gift his crew presented him with at the end of filming.

The season eight gang is set to get back together for a virtual reunion on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Bravo tonight in the US, and they gave the My Seanna boss a lovely note paying tribute to his leadership.

He posted on Instagram: ‘Well friends, we have wrapped up another great season of BD. Thanks to the crew for this sweet souvenir.

‘I hope everyone is tuning in tonight for the Below Deck Season 8 Reunion! #captlee #belowdeck #belowdeckbravo #BDS8 (sic)’

A number of the cast members from the reality show – which chronicles the lives of crew members working and residing aboard a superyacht during charter season – handwrote touching messages.

Rachel said: ‘Captain my captain… You are the most amazing one I have ever had the pleasure to work for. Smooth sailing…’

Chess added: ‘It has been a pleasure to co-create the Pranking Plans Team with you! This season was a blast. Great to work alongside you Captain Lee.’

And while the coronavirus pandemic impacted the season, Eddie was still grateful for the journey.

He wrote: ‘This season didn’t end up how we wanted but I had a damn good time getting here. I couldn’t ask for a better capt, mentor, friend. See you soon.’

Writing in his Captain’s Log after the series finale, Captain Lee reflected on a ‘special season’ that had a bit of everything.

He said: ‘Thanks to all who tuned it. And thanks to all who tweet live with me on Mondays. My Mondays are not going to be as much fun as they have been this year.

‘I thought this was a special season, we had drama, boatmances, firings, conflicts, all without being vicious or personal attacks on each other and I for one, loved it and I hope you did as well. So, until we see each other again, and I hope it’s soon, stay safe out there.

‘Be well and be kind to each other. It costs nothing and pays off huge. Fair winds and following seas. I still have the best God damn job in the world and wouldn’t trade it for anything. Catch ya’ll on the flip side.’
