Girl, 8, who was last seen in 2019 & reported missing last year has been found dead on Montana Indian reservation
A MISSING eight-year-old girl was found dead on a Montana Indian reservation after she was last seen in 2019.
The body of Mildred Alexis Old Crow was found on the Montana reservation months after she was reported missing in November 2020 and was last seen in 2019.

“Our hearts ache for the family and I lift them up in prayer,” Crow Tribal Chairman Frank White Clay said in a statement to the Billings Gazette.
“The entire community felt the loss when Mildred went missing and we feel it again today,” Clay continued.
“My hope is that we can find closure, grieve together, and work to ensure that children are protected and supported on the Crow Reservation and beyond,” he added.
“We want justice for this child and for all of the victims of the epidemic of people missing from reservations across the country,” Clay ended.

An FBI missing person sheet described Mildred as going by the name “Milly” or “Millie,” adding they were looking for her in Billings.
The cause of death for the young tot still has not been determined, nor was it clear how her body was recovered.

Two women were arrested in connection to little Mildred in December.
Veronica Tierza Dust, 34, and Roseen Lincoln Old Crow, 34, were previously granted informal custodianship of Mildred.
They are now held on $5,000 bail after facing charges of endangering the welfare of a child and custodial abuse.
