Inside Rebekah Vardy’s Dancing on Ice themed birthday with husband Jamie after show was cancelled this weekend

REBEKAH Vardy celebrated her 39th birthday with a Dancing On Ice themed party with husband Jamie after the show was cancelled this weekend.

With so many stars pulling out of the ITV dancing competition due to injury or sickness, bosses skipped this weekend in order to help people recover.

However, Rebekah got to celebrate with Jamie and their kids with a bash based around the show.

Sharing the decorations on Instagram, Becky showed off the silver decorations, including a cake with ice skating figurines on top.

The table in their kitchen was covered in fake ice and a disco ball as well.

Best of all were little cookies wrapped in cellophane and tiny bows, with ice skates in icing on the top.

She then heaped praise on her footballer husband Jamie as she gushed over the celebrations.

Becky continued: “I’ve had the best surprise birthday weekend @vardy7 you are amazing 🥰. So nice to chill at home with the kids but I’m ready to get back on that ice ⛸ #feelingblessed #grateful”

The reality star is currently partnered with Andy Buchanan on Dancing On Ice.

However, they have an extra week to prepare for another live show after ITV bosses took a week’s hiatus.

Becky is among the many people injured as she suffered from a groin strain.

The injuries and illness have gotten to the cast and crew following an “unprecedented” avalanche of bad luck.

An insider said: “Everyone backstage is up-in-arms about all the accidents and drop-outs. It’s unprecedented.

“It feels like a curse. Like everything that could go wrong has gone wrong.

“Some people wonder if we’ll last until the end of the series. And all because of the number 13!”

Fear of 13 is not unusual in telly circles. Britain’s Got Talent jumped from Series 12 to 14 to avoid it.
