Billie Eilish got in some deserved R&R with her pet pooch ahead of the release of her new documentary.

In what seems like a pretty idyllic day out to us, the 19-year-old enjoyed a walk on the beach in Malibu with her dog Shark, her brother Finneas O’Connell and his girlfriend Claudia Sulewski.

The Bad Guy singer kept things casual in a baggy taupe jumper and matching rolled up tracksuit bottoms, while she donned a black beanie hat and a patterned face mask.

Billie took off her shoes for a stroll in the sand, before larking around with Shark on the beach.

This month, the star celebrated her dog’s first birthday, and shared a sweet tribute to Shark on Instagram.

Billie wrote: ‘My sweet rescue baby boy was born a year ago today. You have made my life 1000x better happy birfday little shark.’

The Grammy-award winning singer had been fostering two pups for the Angel City Pit Bulls shelter during lockdown, but ‘failed at fostering’ when she couldn’t bear to part with Shark – while the other dog also found a loving home.

Billie already had a rescue cat and dog called Misha and Pepper respectively, and we’ve got to say, we’re jealous of all that lockdown company.

This week, Billie will launch her Apple TV+ documentary The World’s A Little Blurry, which will chart her path from songwriting teen to global superstar.

The documentary, from filmmaker RJ Cutler, began filming back in 2018 and provides a behind the scenes look at the recording of Billie’s debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

In the trailer, Billie says: ‘I look into the crowd and I see every single person in there is going through something.

‘I have the same problem. I was like, “Why don’t I turn this into art instead of just living with it?”’

Of course, just your average broadcast isn’t enough anymore, and the documentary premiere will be preceded by a live-streamed event hosted by Zane Lowe.

The event promises a ‘stripped down performance’ from Billie as well as interviews with her and director Cutler.

It’s the latest project to come from Billie during a year where performances were cancelled worldwide due to the pandemic.

She released the video for her James Bond theme No Time To Die, as well as dropping her singles My Future, Lo Vas a Olvidar (You Will Forget It) with Rosalia, and Therefore I Am, which reached number two in the UK and US charts.

Oh, and for good measure, Billie has compiled a book of photographs from her childhood that will be accompanied by an audiobook of personal stories.

Whatever happened to being unproductive during lockdown, eh?

Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry is out on Apple TV on February 26.
