Ellie Goulding shows off baby bump in first public appearance since announcing pregnancy as she thanks fans for support
Ellie Goulding has made her first public appearance since revealing she is pregnant, and thanked her fans for their support with a new intimate picture of her growing bump.
The singer, 34, and husband Caspar Jopling are expecting their first child together and revealed their surprise news in an interview with Vogue.
Ellie took to Instagram to share a stunning new picture of her baby bump, a black and white close-up with her and Caspar’s hands gently resting on it.
She wrote in the picture caption: ‘I’ve received so many kind messages of love and well wishes today, thank you so much and thank you @voguemagazine x’
Her baby bump made its red carpet debut at boxer Anthony Joshua’s fashion event with BOSS in London on Wednesday.
The mum-to-be covered her bump with a loose black and white top underneath a comfy black BOSS T-shirt with jeans and boots.
The couple found out their baby news when they headed abroad to celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary.
The Starry Eyed hitmaker shared with Vogue she had ‘no idea’ she was already pregnant during her appearance on The One Show in July 2020.
Ellie confessed getting pregnant ‘didn’t seem like it could be a reality’ but now she is going to be a mum she feels ‘human’.
She continued: ‘I want a better word than womanly, [but] I have curves I’ve never had before. I’m enjoying it. My husband’s enjoying it.’
The pop star and art dealer Caspar wed in August 2019 at York Minister, with the likes of Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom among the guests.
