As Frasier is set to return after 17 years – here’s where the cast is now
Kelsey Grammer is bringing his classic comedy Frasier back to our screens, 17 years after it ended, on streaming platform Paramount+.
The sitcom about an uptight psychiatrist and his family ran for 11 seasons from 1993 to 2004.
In a statement Kelsey said: ‘Having spent over 20 years of my creative life on the Paramount lot, both producing shows and performing in several, I’d like to congratulate Paramount+ on its entry into the streaming world.
‘I gleefully anticipate sharing the next chapter in the continuing journey of Dr. Frasier Crane.’
Fans were first introduced to Dr Crane in the sitcom Cheers in 1984 where he was a regular at the series’ focal bar. Frasier followed the titular character as he returned to his home town of Seattle.
The last episode of saw him leave for Chicago to be with his girlfriend Charlotte, played by Laura Linney.
Here is what the stars of Frasier got up to after the series ended.

Kelsey went on to become prolific behind the camera, serving as executive producer on various series including Medium, The Game, Girlfriends and Partners.
Among his TV credits are 30 Rock and, of course, The Simpsons as Bart Simpson’s nemesis Sideshow Bob.
His next acting gig is film Edge Of Justice and and untitled project with Alec Baldwin.

He can next be seen in the TV series Julia.
Jane Leeves (played Daphne Moon)
Jane had a starring role in the sitcom Hot In Cleveland from 2010 to 2015 and since has largely focused on voice work. You may have heard her in animations Phineas and Ferb, Lego Star Wars or Mickey and the Roadster Racers.
Jane currently stars in medical drama The Resident as Kit Voss.
Peri Gilpin (played Roz Doyle)
Peri’s recent projects include the Why Women Kill episode You Had Me At Homicide opposite Lucy Liu, which aired last year, and the comedy webseries Old Guy as a pushy showbiz agent.
The actress has hinted at a Frasier reunion in the past, telling Metro.co.uk last year: ‘There is a lot of talk about it. I do think there’s something going on, but I don’t know exactly what it is or whether it will actually happen.
‘But it’s in the works. Do you know what I mean? That sounds like a big tease but I’m being teased too here!’
John Mahoney (played Martin Crane)
John played Martin for all 11 seasons of Frasier starting from the very first episode in 1993.
The actor went on to have a lead role in 2009 TV series In Treatment and appear comedy series S**t My Dad Says.
