Garth Brooks has revealed how he’s sticking by his wife’s side after singer Trisha Yearwood tested positive for Covid-19.

The country music super gave fans an update about his wife’s health in a statement which read: ‘The Queen and I have now tested twice. Officially, she’s diagnosed as “on her way out of the tunnel” now, though, which I’m extremely thankful for.’

‘Anyone who knows me knows my world begins and ends with Miss Yearwood, so she and I will ride through this together,’ he continued, explaining he will not be doing his weekly Inside Studio G conversation on Facebook until further notice.

The singer stated: ‘And anyone who knows her knows she’s a fighter and she’s been doing everything right, so I know we’ll walk out the other side of this thing together.’

The hitmaker explained that they are both worried about some of the possible long-term effects coronavirus could have on Yearwood’s voice.

‘Living with her, I sometimes take it for granted she’s one of the greatest voices in all of music, so the possible long-term effects on her concern me as her husband and as a fan,’ he stated.

‘She’s tough. She’s stronger than me.’

Brooks asked fans to send good thoughts and prayers her way as he wrote: ‘If anyone asks, that’s what you can do for her. That’s what I’m doing’.

The statement concluded: ‘We’re very lucky she is currently under the greatest care in the best city for treating and healing singers.’

The pair are currently quarantining at home together after Yearwood’s diagnosis.

This is not the first time Garth and Trisha have dealt with the virus. In July, the musical couple postponed a Facebook concert after their team had been suspected of being exposed to the virus.

Earlier this month, the country power couple premiered a new duet called Shallow.
