Lopez and Garcia have been in the headlines for their own fights in the last few weeks. However, the pair have put everything on hold and come together to show their support for the Mexican superstar ahead of his fight against the Turk.

Both fighters took to their social media to share their support for Alvarez. Teofimo Lopez posted a picture with the champion and accompanied it with the caption, “Let’s go Champ! @canelo Vamos Campeón! @canelo”.

Ryan Garcia also posted a picture with Canelo Alvarez with the caption “VAMOS BROTHER @canelo”. Thus, with this, Garcia showed his support to the champion. Moreover, these messages showed what both Lopez and Garcia think of the P4P king, Alvarez.

Alvarez goes into the fight as the favorite against the Turk. However, Yildirim poses a tough test and could push the Mexican. Therefore, Canelo will have to be at his best to get the win. However, both Lopez and Garcia showed their confidence in the Mexican’s abilities.

Canelo Alvarez’s relationship with Teofimo Lopez and Ryan Garcia

Both fighters showed their support for the champion with their social media posts. However, what relationship does Alvarez share with both Lopez and Garcia? Why are the lightweight superstars showing their support to the super-middleweight?

Garcia shares a close bond with the champion, Alvarez. The two train together as part of Eddie Reynoso’s team. Moreover, Alvarez has shown his support for Garcia in all his recent fights. Even the picture that Garcia posted was taken at Garcia’s fight against Luke Campbell. Such is the bond between the two that Canelo entered the ring after the fight.

Lopez may not be part of Alvarez’s team; however, the champions still shared a good relationship. After Alvarez dominated Callum Smith in December, the pair shared a conversation as the champion was walking back to his dressing room. This gave a glimpse of the friendship between the two.

What did you make of this news? Do you agree with Teofimo Lopez and Ryan Garcia, and think Alvarez wins this fight?
