The Chase stars are set to challenge the public on their trivia in new spin-off series The Chase Extra on the ITV Hub.

Stars of the show are turning quizmaster for the new series, which will see viewers put their general knowledge to the test with weekly questions.

Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett, Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty, Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha, Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan, Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace and Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis will all host an episode each and put viewers through their paces.

It’s not just quizzing that fans can look forward to either. Each of the Chasers will also include their own unique interval during their instalment.

There’ll be everything from joke telling to quiz tips and musical performances to watch out for.

The new episodes will arrive at 6pm on Mondays for six weeks from March 8.

It’s the most recent spin-off series for Chase fans to look out for. As well as the daily ITV show, viewers recently followed the quizzing favourites as they travelled outside the studio earlier this year for The Chase Road Trip: Trains, Brains and Automobiles.

The show saw Anne, Shaun and Mark Labbett travel across the country to discover more about the nature of intelligence.

Meanwhile, The Chase viewers were left floored recently after all four contestants chose to take Mark’s lowest cash offer – the first time it has ever happened on the show.

Viewers also recently shared their sympathy for contestants racking up the show’s ‘lowest ever total’ – believing Anne was given an ‘easy ride’ with the questions.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV. The Chase Extra begins on ITV Player on March 8.
