Following the birth of his sixth child with Hilaria Baldwin, Alec Baldwin has ripped into a troll who questioned how the newest member of the family was born, as Hilaria confirmed the name they’d given the baby.

On Monday the family confirmed they had welcomed another kid – a girl – as both Hilaria and Alec shared a sweet family photo of their brood.

Hilaria, who recently came under fire amid accusations she had ‘faked’ a Spanish heritage and accent, later confirmed they had named the newborn Lucia.

She wrote alongside a photo of the baby: ‘We are so in love with our daughter, Lucia.

‘Just like your brothers and sisters, you are a dream come true.’

While she had turned comments off on her page, her 30 Rock actor husband was over on his replying to trolls who popped up looking to stir the pot.

One had replied to Alec’s post – which was a re-post of Hilaria’s sweet photo – and questioned the circumstances around the new addition, demanding the couple tell the general public.

They wrote: ‘Who’s the mother? She wasn’t pregnant. She gave birth six months ago. If it was a surrogate just say that. If the baby was adopted just say that. If the baby was a product of an affair and you’ve decided to raise it with your wife just say that.

‘If you don’t want to say anything – why don’t you both stop constantly posting and begging for clickbait. Just raise your 100 children in private.’

Not taking kindly to such a message, Alec didn’t want to let it slip under the radar as he shot back: ‘You should shut the f**k up and mind your own business.’

Seeing Alec’s feed house nasty comments from trolls, one follower addressed the recent Spanish controversy as they asked the actor why people could be so cruel.

They chimed in: ‘Wish I knew why are people so mean….I cannot have children and love watching the way they interact with theirs. As far as the Spanish who cares, everyone I work with is Spanish and they call me Elena instead of Katie…I don’t care why should anyone else. It is not pretending to be something, it is a personal preference, everyone has a nickname.’

Responding, Alec wrote: ‘Because, basically, they’re not very smart. Americans are people who know less about how to live a peaceful, healthy life than most of the civilized world.’

The couple shared the first photos of their adorable newborn on Instagram earlier this week, after managing to keep the news under wraps, which comes just five months after Hilaria gave birth to their son Edu in September 2020.

In one photo, Hilaria is seen cradling her newest addition while surrounded by her five other children; Carmen Gabriela, seven, Rafael Thomas, five, Leonardo Ángel Charles, four, Romeo Alejandro David, two, and baby boy Edu.

Hilaria, 37, teasingly captioned the image: ‘7❤️📸Alec.’

The yoga instructor teased her Instagram followers further and added in her stories: ‘How many babies do you see?’ with the options being five or six.

Hilaria recently hinted that she was ready to expand the family and told People in November: ‘Everybody’s asking me this question. I don’t know. I’ve said in the past that I was done when I wasn’t done. I think, right now, I’m so tired.

‘And I feel, just with Covid — it’s just insanity.’
