BLACKPINK star Rosé is gearing up to release her solo project next week.

The singer revealed on Instagram that new music will drop on March 12, along with a sultry poster of her wearing a purple gown.

In the the picture caption she gave no other details away, simply writing the release date.

The K-pop star previously unveiled the track Gone at the group’s online concert The Show.

It is unknown if it will be a full-length album, a mini-album or a new single, but BLINK are no doubt more than ready to hear it (or not, it might be too powerful).

Rosé is the next member to put out music after her band mate Jennie, who released the track Solo in 2018.

BLACKPINK’s label YG Entertainment announced in December 2020 that both Rosé and Lisa are going to have solo debuts while member Jisoo works on an acting project.

When Metro.co.uk asked the Kill This Love singers to share some teasers about what we can expect from the ladies, the band were mysterious.

‘It is hard to share the details at the moment, but we are working very hard to deliver the best music for our fans’, they said.

‘We hope to show our unique own charms, so we hope you look forward to it as well.’
