Simon Cowell will officially be back on America’s Got Talent for season 16 as he continues to recover from his horror spine injury.

Tuesday saw NBC confirm that the TV mogul would once again join Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and newest judge Sofia Vergara on the panel, with Terry Crews back as host.

The 61-year-old is on the road to recovery and has been making sure to walk five miles a day, according to his close friend Sinitta.

As well as counting his steps, he is also undergoing pool therapy so he can exercise without putting any weight on his back.

The star is expected to have made a full recovery by the time filming begins on the new season.
