Elizabeth Olsen and Jimmy Fallon’s WandaVision parody is the time-hopping sketch of dreams

WandaVision fans have been asking for a tenth episode and it has basically come in the form of a Tonight Show parody sketch starring Jimmy Fallon and Elizabeth Olsen.

Like the rest of the world, presenter Jimmy can’t get enough of the hit Disney Plus series and he managed to get the show’s lead to join him in an amazing time-traveling bit looking back at late-night talk show history.

Titled FallonVision, the sketch began with the duo mimicking an interview during the 1950s-era with the classic black-and-white style cameras.

Fallon’s host welcomed Olsen, who was promoting her new movie ‘The Boxcar Gals and the Fellas From Tulum’.

The screen then shifted to a 1970s version of the talk-show, and then an early 1990s version — complete with a dated Tipper Gore joke and Conan O’Brien-inspired hair.

The sketch was a bit of a role reversal for Olsen, as she was the one trying to snap Fallon back to a reality he was trying to avoid.

Whereas WandaVision has been all about her character’s decision to escape her own reality due to past trauma.

Then things finally made it to the present day when another WandaVision star made a surprise cameo – and we were treated to a tweaked version of our favorite theme tune.

Olsen, who is in London filming the sequel to Doctor Strange, later explained in the interview that the wigs and other accessories she was sent to do the sketch didn’t arrive on time.

But fortunately, the same women who were the heads of the hair and makeup departments for the show are also working on the movie, so they went to work and made it happen.

As for the future of Wanda, when asked if there’s a connection between the WandaVision finale and the Doctor Strange sequel, Olsen replied: ‘It is a complete tee-up for my character.’
