Gogglebox family The Baggs have reportedly exited the show after just one series.

The family of four, which consists of mum Lisa, dad Terry and their sons George and Joe, joined the Channel 4 series last year, giving their take on the best of British TV.

However, it seems their time on the show has come to an end, with an insider saying: ‘The Baggs family are out of the show and won’t be appearing anymore.

‘They only lasted one series. It was short and sweet.’

But we shouldn’t rule out a return for them, with the source adding to The Star: ‘The Baggs are on good terms with producers so there will always be a possibility that they’ll return at some point.’

The family was enlisted for the show after producers found 23-year-old Joe’s TikToks.

He boasts a following of more than 400,000, with the star sharing comedy videos and his day-to-day life with his family.

The Baggs were introduced as a new family last September, along with The Walkers, although some fans took a little while to warm to the new stars.

However, former Gogglebox queen Scarlett Moffatt had nothing but praise for the new additions, telling Metro.co.uk at the time: ‘I just think that everyone feels like originals.

‘I think everyone has really fitted in nicely, I don’t think you can tell who the new ones are. But I will always love Lee and Jenny.’

The Baggs aren’t the only stars to be exiting the show, with Tom Malone Jr recently announcing his departure from the series.

Confirming the news on Twitter, Tom shared a picture of himself holding up a sign which read: ‘Back on the market. Get at me with any TV work.’

‘So after 6 and a half years it’s finally time to put down the remote and say goodbye to Gogglebox,’ he said.

‘I’ve loved every minute and I’m eternally grateful to Channel 4 and Studio Lambert for allowing me to be a part of the show. But new opportunities are knocking on the door and it’s time to explore them.

‘I look forward to enjoying the show as a viewer and not having to worry about saying something stupid. PS. Don’t worry my parents and brother will still be on the show to keep you entertained every Friday.’

Metro.co.uk has contacted Channel 4 and reps for The Baggs family for comment.

Gogglebox continues Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
