Married At First Sight Australia star Jessika Power has revealed she’s eager to give UK reality TV a go following the success of the matchmaking show, having previously had a fling with Geordie Shore’s Scotty T.

Since season six of Married At First Sight Australia began airing on E4 this year, having originally launched in Aus in 2019, its stars – including Jessika – have experienced a surge in attention from new UK fans.

Having initially been set up with Mick Gould on the show and becoming romantically involved with fellow contestant Dan Webb, Jessika has since found love with Filip Poznanovic.

But even so, the 29-year-old has disclosed that she’d be open to starring on Love Island if given the opportunity.

During a recent interview, Jessika admitted that she didn’t used to believe that people could ‘find love on a reality TV show’ – ’but then I met Dan’.

Asked if she would accept an offer to be on the UK’s version of Love Island, the reality star responded: ‘100%.’

‘I’m very open to these shows being able to work for your love life and I would be very open to coming over to the UK and doing a show like that,’ she said.

‘I actually had Scotty T from Geordie Shore message me last night because him and I had a thing when he was here and we have always kept in contact.’

Speaking to MailOnline, Jessika claimed that she has also been contacted by Stephen Bear.

She added that she has received an offer to star on a show called Celebrity Karaoke Club, ‘and we should be signing contracts later this week’.

Looking back on her Married At First Sight Australia experience, Jessika said that she felt her ‘love life was ruined’, because stars on the programme are ‘just thrust into the limelight’.

‘I did two years of complete soul searching and trying to make myself a better person because the person that was on the show, I wouldn’t be able to fall in love with them so why should anybody else?’ she stated.

Jessika recently announced plans to move to the UK, explaining that her partner is ‘flexible’ when it comes to the potential move.

In a recent interview with Metro.co.uk, she spoke about suffering from addiction following her split from Dan.

‘I’ve been through a lot in my life, a lot of bad things. Honestly that was the hardest time I’ve ever been through, and the one time I couldn’t bring myself out of it. It was pretty scary,’ she said.

Married At First Sight Australia is available to watch on All 4.
