Rebecca Adlington has announced the birth of her second child with her boyfriend Andrew Parsons.

The swimmer and Olympic champion, 32, announced the news on Instagram by sharing a sweet snap of the newborn.

Alongside the image, she wrote: ‘Welcome to the world Albie Bennett Parsons,’ as well as a series of blue hearts.

Fans and friends are thrilled for her, with the likes of Queer Eye’s Bobby Berk, presenter Ore Oduba, Jessica Ennis-Hill and Chris Hoy sharing the love for the couple and their new addition to the family.

Rebecca already has a five-year-old daughter, Summer, with her ex-husband Harry Needs.

The pair tied the knot in 2014, but split after 18 months of marriage.

Meanwhile, Rebecca and Andrew met on dating app Bumble in January 2018.

The pair revealed they were expecting their little one in September last year, with the sweetest announcement.

Rebecca shared a photo of her and Andrew, 30, holding a baby scan as she cradled her belly.

Her daughter Summer was also pictured wearing a t-shirt reading ‘Promoted to big sister’ as she celebrated the upcoming arrival.

Rebecca wrote alongside the picture: ‘Andy and I are excited to announce that we’re expecting.

‘Summer can’t wait, she asks everyday to check my belly to see if it’s growing. Going to be a long wait until the end of feb! @andrewparsons5 #pregnant#14weeks #pregnancyannouncement#nosocialdistancinghere’.

She also shared an adorable TikTok video on her Instagram story showing Summer transforming into a fairy godmother before waving her wand to reveal the baby scan in front of Becky’s stomach.

So cute!
