WWE legend Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson once beat up a classmate who dared call wrestling ‘fake’.

The wrestling icon turned Hollywood heavyweight has responded to a tense scene in his new Young Rock sitcom which shows himself – played by Bradley Constant – react pretty badly to another kid who used the ‘F-word’ to describe the family business.

Dwayne shared the clip, and wrote: ‘Oh boy… true story (I was actually suspended twice for swinging on kids). Not good but I had some issues I needed to work out… Don’t use the F word.’

It comes after Johnson heaped praise on current WWE Champion Bobby Lashley – only the third black performer to hold the prestigious title – and his Hurt Business group led by MVP.

Responding to a design featuring all three men in that small group – Lashley, Rock and Kofi Kingston – MVP wrote: ‘That is a beautiful statement about representation and inspiration. It means something when your heros look like you. (sic)’

Dwayne responded: ‘Well said, brother. You guys are doing GREAT. Very happy for all of you. Very proud, too. Representing.’

The new champ also got involved, crediting the retired star with paving the way for others to step into the ring.

He tweeted: ‘You and so many others paved the way for us to do what we do. Without The Great One, there might not be an All Mighty.’

And the legendary star replied: ‘Appreciate the kind words brother. Very happy for you and proud. Grab that brass ring and go for it all. You know what to do, champ. Represent. #allmighty #peopleschamp (sic)’

Meanwhile, Soulja Boy recently learned the hard way not to call wrestling fake, as he was on the receiving end of a Twitter battering from WWE mainstay Randy Orton.

The so-called Legend Killer tweeted: ‘Fake? Dare this p***k to step up. He dont like movies? Consider us actors that do stunts, without pads 200 days a year and don’t b***h when we get surgically repaired and come right back.

‘Consider us 100 times tougher then anyone you’ve come across. Aint nuthin but a b***h ass… (sic)’
