Homes Under The Hammer has been a staple of the small screen for years, giving us all a perfect mix of house tours and drama.

In the BBC series, presenters Dion Dublin, Martel Maxwell and Martin Roberts take viewers around the country to see properties get auctioned off – with buyers either majorly transforming them or turning them into lucrative investment opportunities.

Bosses announced huge changes at the beginning of the year, bringing in two new hosts to mix things up.

DIY experts Jacqui Joseph and Tommy Walsh joined the gang, with BBC daytime editor Muslim Alim saying at the time: ‘I can’t wait for Jacqui and Tommy to get started.

‘They will perfectly complement our existing crack team of presenters on one of BBC Daytime’s flagship programmes.’

So it’s time to get familiar with Jacqui before she makes her debut.

Who is new Homes Under The Hammer presenter Jacqui Joseph?

The newcomer is a huge name in the property world, and even owns her own homeware label, Jacqui Joseph Designs.

As well as this, she has worked on a host of different daytime shows, including This Morning, Lorraine, GMTV and Daybreak.

She was previously the producer and presenter on the 15-part makeover series, Room 2 B You on Discovery Home, and shared how-to guides on UKTV, giving viewers clever storage ideas and showing them how to refresh things in their own homes.

Homes Under The Hammer isn’t her first stint on BBC, as she also appeared as an upcycler on the Money For Nothing series.

Not only is Jacqui an interior expert, she has also forayed into the fashion world, studying fashion design and working in the industry for a number of years.

Discussing her new job on the property series on Morning Live, she added: ‘I’m so thrilled and excited to be joining Homes Under The Hammer, it’s a series that I‘ve watched for many years.

‘Property and interior design are real passions of mine, so I am really looking forward to meeting buyers and hearing their plans as well as joining what is a fantastic team of presenters.’

We can’t wait to see Jacqui in action.

Homes Under The Hammer airs on weekday mornings, at 10am, on BBC One.
