WWE fan buys Vince McMahon’s custom made ‘$3,000 jacket’ from thrift store
A lucky WWE fan stumbled on a piece of wrestling history in a Florida thrift store – one of Vince McMahon’s custom made suit jackets.
Reddit user XxSpruce_MoosexX stumbled on the jacket – which appears to have been worn by McMahon on SmackDown in April 2020 for Triple H Appreciation Night – for just $45 in a second hand shop.
The item features the WWE boss’ name and initials – VKM – on the tag, and was bought from luxury boutique Richard’s on Greenwich.
Designed by Italian label Ergmenegildo Zegna, similar jackets retail for at least $3,000 on the store’s website.
Sharing the photo, the Redditor said: ‘For reference I’m 5’11, 185 and I look like a child in it. Just sharing because it’s one of the cooler thrift store finds I’ve had. Happy huntin (sic)’
‘$45 I paid lol funny enough I found Steve Harvey’s suit a few months back. Much cheaper quality than Vince haha,’ he added.
‘Haha I wish it fit! This is a custom made piece that was originally a 64 L. For reference I’m usually a very slim 52R or a 50R.
‘The chest is absolutely massive and the shoulders are very padded. I need to a eat a ton of Wheaties to fill this out’.
Meanwhile, The Miz – who recently lost the WWE Championship to Bobby Lashley – has revealed how much Vince has helped him behind the scenes.
He exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘If I’m really talking about it as well, I’d say my wife and you know who else? Vince McMahon. Vince McMahon has always been a big supporter of me. I think he enjoys my work ethic as well as my talents.
‘I think he sees the ability that I have, and is able to showcase me in Raw, SmackDown, pay-per-views, commercials.
‘Whatever WWE needs, I am a guy that can do it and do it to an elite level talent, and be a main event calibre superstar who represents this company like it should be represented.’
