Chrissy Teigen has spoken out to defend Meghan Markle amid the ongoing scrutiny she is under ahead of her and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, admitting she worries about her unborn baby.

The model, 35, took to Twitter to share her fears about what the non-stop criticism about Meghan could do, as the Duchess of Sussex is expecting her second child.

She wrote: ‘this meghan markle s**t is hitting too close to home for me. these people won’t stop until she miscarries. F**king stop it.’

Chrissy lost her baby son Jack last year at 20 weeks and has previously spoken out in support of Meghan after she revealed she too had a miscarriage.

Meghan, 39, had shared her miscarriage story in an op-ed for the New York Times in November, and Chrissy hit back after someone criticised Meghan for speaking out.

The user tweeted: ‘Is anyone really questioning the pain and sheer awfulness of suffering a miscarriage, or are they perhaps criticising Meghan’s decision to write a 1,000 word op-Ed about herself?

‘What does it add to the resources already available for those who go through a tragedy like this?’

According to E! News, Chrissy replied in a since-deleted post: ‘Award for today’s absolute piece of s**t goes to… Congratulations, piece of s**t.’ She then added: ‘Sorry forgot I’m trying to be nicer lol.’

Meghan and Harry’s tell-all interview with Oprah will be broadcast in the US on Sunday, with the UK able to watch it on Monday evening from 9pm on ITV.

The couple have hit the headlines this week after Buckingham Palace announced it would be investigating allegations of bullying made against Meghan by a former staff member.

Many of her friends, including former Suits co-star Patrick J Adams, have leapt to Meghan’s defence and to dispute the allegations.
