Piers Morgan has been given his coronavirus vaccination, with the Good Morning Britain star joking that it’s ‘not even as painful as working with Susanna Reid’.

The shade of it all!

The 55-year-old shared a video of his experience on Instagram, describing the whole process as ‘efficient’.

‘So here I am, I’m about to have my AstraZeneca jab, I’m that old!’ Piers said in the video. ‘And the doctor here, Tim, is going to be administering [it].’

Asked how many vaccines per day he’s given out, Tim responded: ‘Today, hopefully today [will be] about 560.’

‘It’s been an amazingly efficient operation. I’ve been whizzed through […] we were told exactly where to go, you’ve treated me like the idiot I am. Nothing was left to chance,’ the GMB star continued.

After having his jab, Piers added: ‘Very painless, in it goes, that’s it! Not even as painful as working with Susanna Reid!’

He wrote in the caption: ‘JABBED!

‘Thanks to everyone at the Violet Melchett Centre in Chelsea for an incredibly quick, efficient service. In and out in 9 minutes! Had the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.’

Meanwhile, friends and fans were thrilled for him, with This Morning star Eamonn Holmes dubbing him a ‘brave little soldier’.

EastEnders star Jake Wood added: ‘Great job mate.’

Piers is the latest celeb to share that he’s had the Covid vaccine, joining the likes of Dolly Parton, Sir Anthony Hopkins, and Dame Judi Dench.

Meanwhile, the presenter has been keeping himself busy in lockdown, from causing a stir on Good Morning Britain with his recent interviews, and opinions about Meghan Markle, to enjoying a walk with his old Britain’s Got Talent pal Simon Cowell.

He and his co-star Susanna also recently clashed over the idea of vaccine passports – and we’re sure it’s not the last they’ll have to say about it!
