BTS are going to light up the 2021 Grammys stage as they have been confirmed in the line up of performers after landing a history-making nomination.

They join the likes of Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion and Harry Styles.

Doja Cat, Chris Martin, Post Malone and Cardi B have also been confirmed.

Maybe Coldplay front man Chris will get the chance to tell the boy group in person how much he loved their cover of Fix You.

Fan demand for the South Korean group to perform has been sky high since their nod for English-language single Dynamite, and now ARMY will get their wish.

It is not the first time RM, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, V, Suga and Jungkook have performed at the event – in 2020 they joined rapper Lil Nas X on stage for his viral hit Old Town Road.

Beyonce leads this year’s nominations with nine nods in total.

Dua Lipa, Doja Cat, Jhene Aiko and Megan The Stallion also landed multiple nominations at the 63rd annual ceremony.

Rappers Drake, Lil Baby, and Da Baby fared well in the rap categories while The Weeknd was surprisingly shut out from all categories.

The Grammys, hosted by Trevor Noah, takes place on March 14 2021.

The news comes after the K-pop band was named global recording artist of 2020.

They are the first winners of the prize to perform primarily in a language other than English.

The top five was also made up of Taylor in second place, followed by Drake in third, The Weeknd fourth and Billie at five.
