Kathryn Hahn has spoken about the incredible chart-topping success of the WandaVision song Agatha All Along, describing it as ‘bonkers’.

The actress – who plays Agnes aka the powerful witch Agatha Harkness – is responsible for one of the earworms of the year with her ridiculously catchy song, and no-one is more surprised than she is.

‘I don’t understand it. I know, it’s amazing. It’s so crazy. Seth, what’s happening?’ she said about the track’s success on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

‘I don’t have social media, so the whole thing was like filtered down through all this. I was like, “Are you kidding me?” It’s so funny… The whole thing is so bonkers right now.’

As fans will know, Agatha All Along appeared at the end of WandaVision’s seventh episode, revealing that Kathryn’s character Agnes was secretly a hugely powerful witch from the very beginning.

The song, which sees Katherine sing the chorus, was released by Disney and went straight to the top of the iTunes chart. In the end it was only narrowly beaten by Post Malone’s Only Wanna Be With You.

‘[The success is] a testament to the Lopezes who just wrote that crazy, awesome, delicious 47 seconds,’ Hahn said, speaking about Let It Go composers Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

‘The whole thing is so bonkers.’

In episode seven of Marvel’s WandaVision, it was finally confirmed that Kathryn’s nosy neighbour Agnes was the one who’s been messing with Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) from the beginning.

The revelation was confirmed with the song, which – if you’re like most fans – has probably been stuck in your head ever since.

WandaVision is available to watch on Disney Plus.
