Labrinth has confirmed his partner Muz has given birth to their second child, named Aether.

The singer took to social media to confirm the happy news, sharing an adorable snap of him cradling the newborn in his arms, who was wrapped up in a blanket.

Another photo posted was of a giant balloon, which read: ‘Welcome baby Aether.’

Labrinth wrote: ‘I’m in love all over again… winning in life is one thing, living life is another but making life is a whole other wave.’

The 32-year-old had previously confirmed he and Muz were expecting their second baby back in September, as he shared a scan of their unborn child.

He told his followers of his excitement to have another son or daughter, saying: ‘I won’t remember 2020 as a bad year cause it’s the year that heaven wrapped me another gift.

‘I’m so insanely ecstatic!!!! Here’s to the beautiful moment #MoreLife #MoreBlessings.’’

Labrinth – real name Timothy McKenzie – first became a father in 2018, sharing news of his child’s birth with fans on Twitter.

Along with a photo of the tot in its grandmother’s arms, he wrote: ‘This is my mum holding my greatest achievement.

‘Born 23:27 last night… my lady told me this would change my life, [it] has already. I’m going in for you, every song, every moment is going out for you.’

Labrinth and his partner have largely kept their private life out of the spotlight, but the Earthquake hitmaker made a public declaration of love in 2015, when he proposed to her on stage at V Festival.

He was also involved in Gal Gadot’s star-studded music video for Imagine during lockdown last year, but even he admits he had second thoughts when he viewed it back.

When the coronavirus pandemic first hit, Wonder Woman star Gal decided to enlist the help of some famous faces to create their own rendition of the hit John Lennon track to help lift people’s spirits and offer hope during a time of uncertainty.

As well as Labrinth, the likes of James Marsden, Natalie Portman and Zoe Kravitz were all involved and can be seen singing a line of the song in the clip, but even its stellar cast didn’t stop the video from instantly going viral and not for the right reasons.

Speaking about the video, the producer was brilliantly honest and admits his involvement is now a ‘pill he’s got to swallow’.

He told Esquire: ‘I thought they had a plan. When I saw it back I was like, “Oh s***.”

‘I didn’t know I was gonna be around all these cool people, but singing such a terrible version of a legendary song. But hey, gotta swallow that pill.’
