Oprah Winfrey’s unmissable interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry has provided one of the biggest showbiz moments of the year so far, with bombshell revelations aplenty.

It has racked up millions of views after airing in the US last night, and the long-awaited footage is set to arrive on UK screens this evening – but how does it compare to the presenter’s most popular encounters?

Analysing YouTube views and likes, as well as votes for the 50 most iconic celebrity Oprah interviews, OnBuy.com has ranked the most popular Oprah interviews of all time.

The results show that Mike Tyson’s revealing 2009 talk is the most viewed and liked Oprah interview on the platform, racking up almost 10million views and achieving a positive vote ratio of 96.2% on the streaming platform.

Her talk with the former professional boxer saw him discuss the loss of his daughter, as well as his erratic behaviour.

In second place is her Michael Jackson’s 1993 interview, which has a total of 7.8million views. Her chat with Donald Trump from 1988, 50 Cent from 2012 and Ellen DeGeneres in 1997 are in third, fourth and fifth place respectively.

The revelatory interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, though, could yet turn out to be Oprah’s biggest yet.

The interview saw the Duke of Sussex accuse Prince Charles of ignoring his calls after his dramatic exit from the Royal Family. He described how the couple felt driven to leave the UK, and were ‘very sad it’s got to this point’ – adding his family ‘cut him off’.
