Lorraine makes Prince Andrew dig as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry fallout continues

Lorraine Kelly sent fans into a total spin as she ended today’s show with a dig at Prince Andrew.

Much of this morning’s episode centred around the continued fallout over Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s bombshell interview with Oprah.

However, as the credits rolled, the host made a reference towards the scandal surrounding Prince Andrew, and his links to Jeffrey Epstein.

Ending the instalment, the 61-year-old told viewers: ‘I guess the only person who might be thinking this is all okay is Prince Andrew, right?’

Mics dropping all over the place.

Fans were loving the sass, flocking to Twitter to discuss Lorraine’s comments.

The Duke of York withdrew from royal duties for the ‘foreseeable future’ in 2019 as a result of his friendship with convicted paedophile Epstein.

The Royal also had a disastrous interview with Emily Maitlis on Newsnight, discussing their controversial friendship and the allegations levied against him.

In the chat, he denied having sex with an alleged victim of Epstein, Virginia Giuffre, when she was 17, and claimed that he was physically unable to sweat.

Prince Andrew faced a huge backlash for seemingly failing to show empathy for Epstein’s victims or remorse for his friendship.

It was claimed he was planning to return to his duties, but this has not been verified by Buckingham Palace.

Lorraine continues on weekday mornings, at 9am, on ITV.
