Jessica McCaskill vs Cecilia Braekhus

The immediate rematch between a veteran and a rising star can see a different outcome this time. Pulling off an upset, McCaskill handed Brakehus the only loss of her pro career in August 2020. Boasting 9 wins and 2 losses, ‘caSkilla’ is already the unified welterweight champion.

However, Braekhus’s experience of 37 fights, including 36 wins, will clearly give her some advantage. But McCaskill’s 5” reach advantage can trouble the former champion. Akin to the first fight, Caskill can control the range. But Braekhus efficiently outplays her opponents in late rounds and she will seemingly avenge her loss.

Prediction: Cecilia Braekhus defeats Jessica McCaskill via decision

Hiroto Kyoguchi vs Axel Vega

With WBA and Ring light-flyweight on the line, this can be an alluring battle to watch. Undefeated Kyoguchi will likely defend his title on a comfortable run against Vega. However, that doesn’t take away the latter’s chances of putting an upset.

Boasting of 14 wins (8 KOs) with just 3 losses and 1 draw, Vega can rightfully look into the eyes of Kyoguchi, 14-0 (9 KOs). However, the Japanese prodigy will relish the 16” reach advantage and being stylistically alike, we can expect Kyoguchi to land more shots. So, ‘The Mad Boy’ clearly looks strong on papers.

Prediction: Hiroto Kyoguchi knocks out Axel Vega (5th round)

Raymond Ford vs Aaron Perez

Undefeated ‘Savage’ Raymond Ford (8-0) will step up against another undefeated prodigy in Aaron Perez (10-0). While someone’s zero will likely collapse, it will bring an intriguing in-ring collision. Both the featherweights are in great shape and are on their rise.

Ford is 5” taller with 50% KO ratio. So, he might be the aggressor. But the fight can also go the distance and the man to remain relevant throughout will take away the win. It can be one of the toughest fights to settle for the judges.

Prediction: Raymond Ford beats Aaron Perez via decision.

Austin Williams vs Aaron Coley

Williams vs Coley can see a quick outcome, considering both the men are hard hitters. Meanwhile, the unbeaten Austin Williams is also a KO specialist and appears to be in his peak form at this stage. That said, none of them would enjoy any significant advantage in height or reach.

But Williams can seemingly dictate the pace of the fight and on landing the bigger shots, Aaron Coley needs to respond. He might not have a great chance in dragging then fight to the distance. So, the man with more fireworks would depart with the win.

Prediction: Austin Williams knocks out Aaron Coley (Third round)

Otha Jones III vs Jorge Castaneda

This can be the most vulnerable fight of the card. Standing with no professional experience, Castaneda will face an unbeaten Otha Jones III. This fight can be a boost up for Jonas III who is walking the right path in his career. Meanwhile, it can also be a positive beginning for Castenada.

So, it’s hard to predict anything from the end. But looking at Jonas’ pro experience, he will seemingly depart with the last laugh.

Prediction: Otha Jonas III beats Jorge Castaneda via decision.
