Sheamus and Drew McIntyre went to war again on WWE Raw last night – and they’ve got the bruises to prove it.

The two superstars – who have long been friends outside the ring after coming through the European and UK wrestling scenes – have become on-screen rivals lately, and they stole the show last week with a WrestleMania-worthy match.

On Monday night, they went another round to asset their dominance – this time battling in a No Disqualification Match which really gave them the chance to let loose.

Hard hits and weapon shots were a big part of the clash, but there was no winner (besides the fans) as it was ruled a ‘no contest’ when both men laid each other out with steel stairs.

Drew and Sheamus will no doubt be waking up a little sore today judging by the marks all over their backs.

The Celtic Warrior shared a picture of his body, covered in red marks and welts, as he sarcastically said: ‘They call this a No Contest. #WWERaw’

A couple of hours later, McIntyre posted a snap of his own and it seems the Scottish Psychopath may have actually come off worse.

He warned: ‘Far from over…’

Even Randy Orton used the match to take another little dig at Soulja Boy, who he utterly roasted last week for a passing comment referring to WWE as ‘fake’.

After Monday’s match, he tweeted: ‘Fake. Right @souljaboy?’

It’s no surprise Sheamus and Drew went all-out again as they delivered another stellar match and reiterated their positions as two of the best in the game.

After last week’s contest, McIntyre insisted the pair are unrivalled when it comes to laying it all on the line.

Sharing photos from the match, he tweeted: ‘We’re not seeing eye-to-eye right now, but nobody will give you more in a fight than @WWESheamus and Drew McIntyre. Hell of a scrap, hope everyone enjoyed it cause I know I did’.

*WWE Raw airs every Monday night at 1am on BT Sport.
