BBC has shared a clip of Regé-Jean Page reading a bedtime story, and it is the most wholesome video we’ve ever seen.
The Bridgerton star was recently announced to be taking part in CBeebies Bedtime Stories, following in the footsteps of Tom Hardy, Isla Fisher and Chris Evans.
A video has now been released of the 31-year-old’s narration of Rain Before Rainbows by Smriti Halls and David Litchfield.
The book follows a girl and her companion fox as they ‘travel together from a place of loss and despair’.
The pair ‘learn that, in the midst of rain, rainbows can be hard to see but, with courage and the help of good friends, there is always a way out of darkness’.
Regé-Jean’s dulcet reading will be airing on CBeebies on Mother’s Day, aka March 14, and we guarantee he’ll have kids – and a few adults – heading off to the land of nod.
As well as the Duke himself, Tom Hardy, Rag‘n’Bone Man and Felicity Jones will also be on hand to read stories this week.
It has been a great few months for the actor, who set pulses racing around the world thanks to his stint in Netflix drama Bridgerton.
And he’ll be popping back up on our screens very soon, as he has landed a role in spy thriller The Gray Man, beside Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans.
Maybe he can bond with Captain America over their bedtime stories?
Rege-Jean is thought to have joined the Netflix flick, which is based on Mark Greaney’s novel of the same name.
The Gray Man focuses on a duel as Court Gentry (Gosling) is hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Evans) – his former CIA colleague.
Ana de Armas and Billy Bob Thornton are also on the project, with their roles still to be revealed – with the Russo brothers directing.
Count us in.
CBeebies Bedtime Stories is on daily at 6.50pm.
