Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have allegedly split up two years after getting engaged, according to reports.

According to Page Six’s sources, the couple have recently broken up, as they claim: ‘He’s now in Miami getting ready for baseball season, and she’s filming her movie in the Dominican Republic.’

The pair, who have been together since 2017 and engaged for two years, had been photographed hugging in the Dominican Republic just last month, where JLo had been shooting for Shotgun Wedding.

Neither Jennifer nor Alex have publicly addressed the claims as of yet.

The couple had been planning to tie the knot but had to push their wedding back twice due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Jennifer revealed in December: ‘We had to cancel the wedding … because of Covid, because of the quarantine. And we actually did it twice, which people don’t know.’

She added to Andy Cohen on SiriusXM that they’d even discussed not getting married at all: ‘We’ve both been married before, it’s like, do we get married? Do we not? What does it mean for us?

‘It comes down to like personal, what do you want to do? There’s definitely no rush, though.’

The couple had initially planned to have their wedding in Italy, but the country became one of the worst-affected at the start of the pandemic last year, which meant they had to cancel everything.

She added: ‘We tried to regroup for later in the year, a few months ago, and I was like, “Nope, still not the right time,” so it was just a little disappointed and then you just think to yourself, well, things will happen in their divine time in a way.

‘It just kind of gave us a moment to pause and think about it. And I think it’s something that maybe is still important to us, but there’s no rush… it’ll happen when it happens.’
