Warner Horizon and ABC Entertainment shared the news in a tweet, which began: “Chris Harrison will not be hosting the next season of The Bachelorette. We support Chris in the work that he is committed to doing.”

His replacements were then named as the statement continued: “In his absence, former Bachelorettes Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will support the new Bachelorette through the next season.”

The statement then moved on to addressing changes within the show, stating: “As we continue the dialogue around achieving greater equity and inclusion with the Bachelor franchise, we are dedicated to improving the BIPOC representation of our crew, including among the executive producer ranks.

“These are important steps in effecting fundamental change so that our franchise is a celebration of love that is reflective of our world.”

Chris has found himself at the center of a racism scandal[/caption]

The news comes after Chris, 49, faced backlash amid his “racism” scandal.

The popular franchise has had a dark cloud over it all through season 25, which is currently being led by Bachelor Matt James.

It all kicked off after Georgia contestant Rachael Kirkconnell was discovered to have attended an Antebellum plantation-themed party in 2018.

After Rachael received backlash for her social media history, the problems escalated when host Chris stood in her corner during an interview with former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay on Extra.

Chris said at the time: “We all need to have a little grace, a little understanding, a little compassion. Because I’ve seen some stuff online… again, this ‘judge, jury, executioner’ thing where people are just tearing this girl’s life apart…”

He quickly received plenty of backlash for his comments, including from Rachel L.

Days later, the longtime host revealed he was ashamed of his comments and said he was stepping down as the host of the franchise.

Chris then apologized, in what people called “insincere” after viewers heard him speak to Good Morning America in his interview with Michael Strahan.

After the longtime host announced his was stepping away from the show for an unspecified amount of time, it was revealed former linebacker Emmanuel Acho will replace him in the upcoming After the Final Rose special.

While many fans suspected Emmanuel may be the frontrunner for the show’s new host, it turns out that Bachelor Nation is keeping the hosting roles for its alum.

Tayshia, 30, recently found love with fiance Zac Clark during the most recent season of The Bachelorette.

Meanwhile, Kaitlyn starred at the show’s leading lady during Season 11.

Most recently, the 35-year-old showed off her impressive dance skills when she became the Dancing With the Stars champion.

Meanwhile, The Sun previously exclusively revealed that Katie Thurston will be announced as the next Bachelorette.

The insider revealed: “Production was divided on selecting Katie as The Bachelorette, it was not unanimous.

“Some producers realize the show needs a strong, sexually confident woman who will put a man in his place if he needs to be, similar to Hannah Brown.

“And that’s who Katie has appeared to be. They want another Hannah Brown and Katie ticks the boxes and then some…”

The source added that Katie is “great, she’s confident but she’s a wildcard…”

Additionally, Reality Steve reported that the suspected runner-up on Matt’s season- Michelle Young- will also get a second chance at love with her own season of The Bachelorette.
