The latest episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 13 saw the remaining queens take on the highly-anticipated makeover runway.

But while in the past the competitors of Drag Race have made over strangers or members of their family, this time, this time they were tasked with making over each other in what head judge RuPaul called a doppelganger challenge.

For the 10th episode titled ‘Freaky Friday Queens’, Denali was paired with Olivia Lux, Gottmik with Kandy Muse, Rosé with Tina Burner and Symone with Utica.

Symone and Utica were announced as the joint winners of the week, with each earning a cash tip of $5,000 for their impeccable transformations and embodiments of each other.

So who was told to ‘sashay away’ and what were their parting words?

Who left Drag Race season 13 this week?

In the most recent instalment of Drag Race, it was Denali’s turn to say goodbye.

Denali landed in the bottom two alongside her challenge partner Olivia, after RuPaul told the pair that while their ‘fashion game was on’ their ‘branding’ was each other ‘was off’.

The drag queens took to the stage to lip sync for their lives, performing to Shackles (Praise You) by Mary Mary.

As RuPaul turned to Olivia and said ‘shantay you stay’, she dropped to the ground in tears, as an expression of disappointment dawned on Denali’s face.

‘Denali my dear, when it comes to your time at Drag Race, I just want to praise you,’ RuPaul said as the figure skating queen became the sixth queen to leave this year’s series.

What did Denali say as she exited the competition?

Denali was full of gratitude after learning her fate, turning to the judges’ panel and stating: ‘Thank you from the bottom of my heart for completely changing my life.

‘This has been the greatest, the most rewarding experience, and I am so blessed to have gained a whole new family of drag sisters.’

Just before Denali exited the stage, she added: ‘A skater with a whole lot of class, and a whole lotta a**.’

When Denali entered the Werk Room to leave a goodbye message on the mirror, she added: ‘I did want this so badly, I cannot help but think that I went home too early.

‘But I’m beyond proud of everything that I’ve done here. I made it to the Olympics, so watch out – ’cause I’m ready to slice and dice and win gold medals.’

New episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race are released on Saturdays on Netflix.
