Amanda Holden cooked a roast dinner totally naked and her family are ‘used to it’
Amanda Holden says her family are ‘used to’ seeing her wandering around the house naked after she whipped up a roast dinner starkers.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge had no time to scramble for a stitch of clothing after getting out of the shower and realising she was running late with dinner.
Amanda revealed that her husband Chris and her daughters Lexi, 15, and nine-year-old Hollie didn’t bat an eyelid.
She told You magazine: ‘I was quite literally the Naked Chef. I got out of the shower, realised I was running late to get everything on the table so I didn’t bother to get dressed.
‘I just raced downstairs, got the potatoes on, the meat in the oven and my veggie option. It definitely made it more interesting.’
Asked what her family made of her cooking in the nude, the radio presenter confessed that now Lexi is older, she’s finding it a bit cringe – otherwise ‘no one noticed’.
‘It’s absolutely par for the course for me to be walking around with no clothes on in our house,’ the 50-year-old said.
‘Obviously now Lexi’s a bit older she does a bit of eye-rolling every now and again, but they’re all very used to me.’
The mum-of-two has always been confident in her body and has no problem posting bikini shots on her social media.
Her glam outfits on BGT have proved to be a bit too daring for some delicate souls watching at home, who have complained to ITV in the past about her wardrobe choices.
However this doesn’t bother the telly judge one bit, telling OK! magazine in 2019: ‘My children don’t bat an eyelid at what I wear and love borrowing my clothes.
‘I have fun on Britain’s Got Talent – it’s the perfect opportunity to take risks.
‘Times have changed and I don’t feel anyone should feel pressure to dress for your age. It’s all about body positivity and feeling good.’
