Dancing on Ice star Faye Brookes has spoken about tonight’s final, saying she is preparing her ‘hardest’ ever routine.

The Coronation Street actress is going head to head with Colin Jackson and Sonny Jay on Sunday’s show, and she’s pulling out all the stops to impress the judges with professional partner Matt Evers.

Speaking about her routines for the final, Faye said: ‘The skate of the series is Swan Lake. I am now recreating Swan Lake with Matt so that’s kind of new as it will now have the Matt and Faye stamp.

Discussing her former professional partner Hamish Gaman, who was forced to quit the show, Faye added: ‘With all due respect to Hamish, we didn’t want to copy his choreography so we have taken inspiration and done our own choreography.

‘We’ll still have elements but it will definitely be a Faye and Matt piece. Matt’s like “this is the hardest thing I’ve ever done on ice!”’

Faye is also performing her showcase routine to Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream.

‘I’ll have my Hollywood hunk next to me, by a pool, lying on a sun chair and we have beach balls, we have lilos, we have every trick you can think of,’ she said.

‘Including traditional steps of course. And I can say that there will be a trick at the end that I think everyone is waiting to see from me… I’m the last girl standing, of course I’m going to put that in it! It’s going to be a full on spectacle.’

The actress emerged as the early favourite to win Dancing on Ice after a string of impressive performances.

She was originally partnered with Hamish Gaman, but he had to drop out of the competition after tearing a tendon in his hand after putting on a sock.

Faye was recently told she needs to be ‘less frosty’ if she wants to win the show by partner Matt, according to reports.

On Sunday, fans showered Faye with messages of congratulations after she ‘finally’ achieved a perfect score of 40 on the series, having previously been ‘undermarked’ by the judges

The Dancing On Ice final airs on Sunday at 6pm on ITV.
