Piers Morgan and Rita Ora lead heartfelt Mother’s Day messages as celebrities celebrate mums
Piers Morgan and Rita Ora are among the celebrities who have been out in full force celebrating their mums this Mother’s Day.
Former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers, who quit the ITV daytime show earlier this week, shared a baby photo of him and his mum Gabrielle on Instagram.
‘Always there to pick me up when life gets a little tricky… Happy Mother’s Day to my fabulous mother,’ the 55-year-old broadcaster penned.
Rita, who is currently in Australia for work purposes, also took a trip down memory lane and posted a series of throwback photos of her and her mum Vera on Twitter.
‘Happy Mother’s Day @veraora,’ she penned, alongside a string of emoji flowers.
In one particularly festive photo, a young Rita and her mother sat on the sofa as they posed with a Christmas tree in shot, while another showed the duo smiling together on a beach.
A whole host of famous faces have joined Piers and Rita in bigging up their mother figures, including the likes of David Beckham and This Morning’s Holly Willoughby.
Because nothing says ‘I love you’ like a couple of pictures on Instagram, right?
