Chrissy Teigen thinks Dua Lipa’s ‘beautiful fingers’ deserve an Instagram account as she majorly fan-girls over singer
Chrissy Teigen has made a call for Dua Lipa and her ‘beautiful fingers’ to get their very own Instagram account after being mesmerised by the singer at the Grammy Awards.
Dua had Chrissy majorly fan-girling as she stormed the stage at this year’s Grammys looking nothing but fierce in not one, but three equally as amazing pink glitter outfits and, of course, her nails matched.
From the wrap gown to the boyfriend blazer and boots and that sparkly two-piece, we were forever dreaming about Dua’s getup after she gave an incredible performance of her hits Levitating and Don’t Start Now.
Dua began her performance by standing solo at a microphone and reeling us in with those flexible fingers of hers and it sounds like Chrissy was just as captured by the star as we were.
Taking to Twitter, the Sports Illustrated model posted: ‘Dua Lipa’s beautiful fingers deserve an Instagram account. Am I the only one who notices this.’
Fans seemed to be pretty much in agreement, with one tweeting: ‘There was some stuff going on with her mic stand and her fingers! Jus sayin (sic).’
‘Head to toe gorgeous. What an entertainer,’ posted another, while one more fan was all for it as they wrote: ‘The way she twirled her fingers on that mic!! Her nails glistening in the light!! MAGIC.’
‘Ummmm same, strong elongated graceful phalange game,’ tweeted one fan.’
Another said: ‘Yes she has gorgeous fingers so graceful,’ as one more Dua lover commented: ‘Let’s be real her *everything* deserves its own insta account.’
They’re not wrong…
Showing Dua even more love, Chrissy tweeted of the New Rules hit-maker: ‘I looooove this I love her. so cute.’
Dua went into the Grammys strong as she was nominated in six award categories, including best record, best song and best album – closely following Beyonce, who led the nods with nine nominations in total.
It was best pop vocal album that secured her the win, with Dua taking home the prize on behalf of her latest album Future Nostalgia released in March last year.
Speaking on stage after accepting the award, Dua credited the record for ‘changing her life’.
‘Future Nostalgia means the absolute world to me and it has changed my life in so many ways,’ she said. ‘But one thing that I have really come to realise is how much happiness is so important.
‘I felt really dated at the end of my last album where I felt like I only had to make sad music to feel like it mattered. And I’m just so grateful and so honoured because happiness is something we all deserve and need in our lives.’
Other big winners on the night included Queen Bey (naturally) as she picked up her 28th Grammy and made history while doing so, as Beyoncé became the singer with the most Grammy wins ever.
‘This is so overwhelming. I have been working my whole life, since nine years old and I can’t believe this happened, it’s such a magical night. Thank you so much,’ Bey said in her speech.
Her daughter Blue Ivy was seen picking up her first ever Grammy, thanks to her appearance on Beyoncé’s single Brown Skin Girl.
Megan Thee Stallion picked up her first Grammy win for her track Savage, while Harry Styles scooped the award for best pop solo performance with his hit Watermelon Sugar.
