Dani Dyer has hit out at mum-shamers after welcoming son Santi.

The Love Island winner gave birth to her first child at the beginning of the year, with boyfriend Sammy Kimmence.

She has given us adorable glimpses of the newborn on social media – but revealed the comments from her followers haven’t been so lovely.

In fact, a few followers have taken aim at the 24-year-old’s every move when it comes to her little one.

Appearing on the Made By Mammas podcast, Dani opened up about the lengths of mum-shaming she had received in the few months since she welcomed Santi.

‘I don’t think anyone can ever teach you [to deal with trolls],’ she told hosts Zoe Hardman and Georgia Dayton.

‘Everyone was like, “Oh I bet you’re used to it because your dad was in the public eye and stuff”, but I was like, “No, because it was never me, the comments were never directly to me”.

‘When my dad would get trolling or anything negative, because it wasn’t me, I thought all that stuff was bizarre.

‘When it’s actually you, it hurts.’

Addressing the comments about being a mum, Dani continued: ‘Now in motherhood, you do get messages off women that are just not helpful, they’re not supportive and they say things, and you think, “I don’t really need this right now”.

‘It’s lovely when a woman says, “why don’t you try this?” or “my baby had this, maybe he’s got that”. But when they’re just really rude…’

Recalling a time she was blasted for posting photos of Santi in a car seat in an adorable padded suit, the reality star added: ‘I had messages off women like, “You’re going to make him suffocate, he’s going to overheat in the car. If you have a car crash he’s not going to be safe, he’s not going to be protected if you have a car crash”.

‘I’m like, “Oh my god why are you even saying that to me? Chill out!” I’ve had a lot of that.’
