Married At First Sight Australia star Kerry Knight casually gets undressed outside husband’s home because why not
Married At First Sight Australia star Kerry Knight was casually seen stripping off outside of her husband’s house… just because.
When a girl’s got to change, a girl’s got to change ok?
Here in the UK we still haven’t fully recovered from the drama-filled roller-coaster that was season six of MAFS Australia, but down under they’re already powering through a new series, with season eight hitting screens.
Kerry, 30, is an occupational therapist from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, and she is a late arrival to the season – after joining in week three to wed husband Johnny Balbuziente, a 30-year-old theatre producer from Brisbane.
Snaps of Kerry taken back in December saw her throwing off one outfit and standing in her underwear by her car, as she indulged in a quick outfit change on her groom’s driveway and – in the words of Dua Lipa – DGAF.
Her chosen number, you ask? A black vest-top dress. Simple yet chic.
It’s not known whether Kerry’s impromptu wardrobe revamp came about from filming, but Aussie fans of the reality series are set to find out as the season plays out on screens.
Following three couples voting to leave in just week two of the experiment, a whole bunch of new brides and grooms have been matched.
Kerry, who has previously been married, wed Johnny and viewers recently saw them head off on their honeymoon, but they hit a bump in the road when Johnny found out his new wife had been messaging her ex-husband.
‘I can’t ever imagine having that with my ex and being on this experiment, I just can’t wrap my head around it,’ Johnny told the camera, after Kerry revealed that her ex had ‘checked in with her’ following her big day.
Johnny said: ‘I’m just being raw and honest right now. It sort of weirds me out a little bit… they’re talking about me.’
He asked Kerry if she misses her ex-husband and she replied: ‘I miss having someone there, but the reason I left was because there wasn’t a romantic connection to him anymore.’
Not convinced that Johnny believed her, Kerry said it was ‘pretty disappointing’ that he questioned whether she was over her previous marriage.
‘My ex is here supporting me to find a new relationship. I’m not sure why it’s met with any sense of doubt that I might not be over it. It doesn’t make sense,’ she said.

Fans also saw the latest MAFS Australia series introduce its first ever bisexual groom.
Liam Cooper tied the knot with Georgia Fairweather and was later seen being grilled by the rest of the couples in the experiment about his sexuality.
The show has previously seen same-sex marriages on the show, with its first gay couple being introduced in season three in 2016.
Season seven – which is set to air in the UK later this year – saw Tash Herz wed Amanda Micallef and their marriage was the first same-sex marriage to be shown on MAFS following gay marriage being legalised in Australia in 2017.
Married At First Sight Australia is available to stream on All 4.
